Craig Spiesman, a retired Restoration Account Manager, hails from a middle-class family in Parsippany, NJ. Now, he fills his days with various hobbies, active community involvement, and invaluable family moments, creating a life that’s as fulfilling as it is varied.

His journey into amateur photography began during his extensive travels across the Southeastern United States and the breathtaking Hawaiian Islands. With just an iPhone, he has chronicled the scenic vistas from Northern Georgia’s rolling hills to the rainbow-draped beaches of Hawaii. From sunsets on Kauai’s shores to candid moments with his wife, Cindy, on Maui’s beaches and the awe-inspiring views from Haleakala’s summit, each snapshot cements a precious memory to share.

Craig regularly visits local golf courses around the Atlanta suburbs, where, despite a less-than-perfect swing, the camaraderie among players is what he treasures most. Wednesday evenings are reserved for billiards with friends at his community’s clubhouse, where he often triumphs in the weekly 8-ball tournaments, celebrating small victories in the game of precision and strategy.

After relocating back to Georgia, Craig and Cindy cherished being close to four generations of her family, all within a short drive. Sundays are special, spent at Chris and Gail’s home, where a table laden with comfort food sparks laughter and shared stories of days past, enriching their bond and creating new memories.

Each Sunday, Craig and Cindy find solace and inspiration at Southside Church, where Pastor Jeff and Assistant Pastor Allen deliver messages of hope and renewal. This spiritual anchor offers them strength and rejuvenation, readying them for the week ahead.

Retirement hasn’t slowed him down; he’s become more involved, especially within the local men’s club and his 55+ community. Whether aiding neighbors with home maintenance or organizing community events, he embodies the spirit of service, strengthening communal bonds.

Curiosity led him to the community pickleball courts, where the rapid pace and friendly competition captivated him. This sport has become a favored pastime and a way to connect with neighbors and enjoy lively, spirited games.
